As some of you may know, my middle brother is an up and coming tabletop game designer, likely through the art contributions I’ve made to his cornerstone game, Collision. After three years of designing, play testing, and revising, he’s ready to release a polished product and could use some help setting up his business! He has a very modest goal, and lots of sweet swag up for grabs in the rewards.

Yeah so I’ve been in beta testing for a while, and now I’m working on the last version of test rules before the RELEASE. I’m looking to change how terrain works, the board set-up, and how objectives are used. so yeah, been a while since I’ve tumbled so for all of you, I’ve got some great news. Reaper sent me a ton of awesome stuff, and they sent me some even more awesome stuff! What kind of stuff? miniatures, and paints, tons of them. This means I’ll be doing quite a few painting articles. and whats this?

yeah I’ve been sculpting and I kinda finished. Also I’ve been pouring molds, so what you see there is the first resin prototypes of the prince and the thrall. They turned out pretty sweet if I don’t say so myself which I do because I just said it. Just thought you’d want to know.

So a serious post on my blog here http://newworldgamingco.wordpress.com/ , something about starting to sculpt a miniature or something, its probably pretty important to you know eventually selling things.

I plan to make it a goal of mine to run tests, and sculpt and paint each day from now until Gen-Con, so guess what that means? a whole lot of playing with myself (the game that is). But it is all for the love of the game, really it is!

Another test game went down very briefly on Saturday, goblins got butchered again which means time to throw EVEN MORE GOBLINS AT IT make powerful characters cost more points, to encourage players not to play Hero Hammer as it is called in other war games. Will it work? I’ll find out in the next few days. If it doesn’t work? I’ll throw more goblins at it.

Its going to be a miniature, and in not a very long amount of time.

So I’m selling stuff? well yes, there will be more miniatures coming soon, and they are intended to be used for COLLISION.

So I’m making you buy stuff? NOPE, you guys can go on and continue to play the game with whatever miniatures you feel like using. Its just that my stuff will be pretty damn sweet, and you’ll want to use it because it’ll be great. Oh, and you’ll get to see them and use them during gen con. Oh and you’ll get to have them. No seriously everybody that signs up for an event will walk away with at least one miniature sculpted by me and produced in a high quality resin. Thats how confident I am that it will be awesome.

Want more than one awesome miniature? Can’t make it to gen con? oh there will be an online store, coming soon, but not too soon because I need to build up a product range and enough miniatures not to have a production issue.

What else is in the pipeline?

Oh just board building kits. Yep, want to build your own 3D grid board? I’ll send you the stuff in a box. Don’t want to use MY board building kit? I’ll write a tutorial on building your own board during Gen-Con hype week. Wouldn’t that sell less board building kits? I know some of yall are lazy.
